LovanE is one of the smallest wine estates near Stellenbosch, situated in the picturesque Boland, neighbouring the famous Neethlingshof Wine Estate and Overgaauw Wine Estate. 2.5 Hectare vineyards were planted on virgin land in 2003. The plantings consist of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The first wine was produced in 2006.

Chickens, peacocks, spotted dikkops, guinea fowl and partridges roam freely in the vineyards. Many chameleons can be found in the vineyards and in summer they are sometimes seen on the vine trellises or fences.

The guesthouse is an accommodation gem with affordable luxury rooms and bathrooms.

LovanE is a working wine farm owned and run by the Gous family.
