A medium-bodied and well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc with a lingering aftertaste of tropical fruit. Elegant balance is achieved through its crisp acidity.
Lovane is located in Stellenbosch, and is the smallest commercial wine estate in South Africa. After it was established in 2003, our first wines were bottled in 2006. Although only limited quantities are produced we always strive to produce elegant, quality wines from grapes sourced from the Stellenbosch region. The farm is owned by the Visser family, Theresa, Hennie and their twin daughters Andrea and Natalie. Our wine is made with curiosity, passion and love.

The wine is ready to drink now, but can also be enjoyed for a further 2 years.
The grapes were harvested by hand during the first week of February. First the juice was cleared and settled. Then, yeast cultures were added. Fermentation took place at approximately 14 degrees Celsius. The wine was left to rest on the lees. Stirring took place once a week to add to the creamy mouth-feel of the wine and to ensure all lees flavours were released.
